Research is more than data collection; it is a deliberate, human-centered process that seeks to understand lived experiences, reveal patterns, and inform transformative action. Our research work encompasses the whole gamut of health and well-being, economic growth (agribusiness, trade, transport, digital awareness), climate resilience, market systems development, gender and development, youth development, community health, education, and social protection, among others.
We apply participatory methods that prioritize the involvement of local communities in every stage of the process, from conceptualization to co-creation, data gathering to interpretation, and dissemination and action. Our team is skilled in designing mixed-methods studies, complexity-aware methods, conducting needs assessments, and evaluating the impact of programs in diverse contexts. We translate findings into user-friendly, audience-specific knowledge products, such as policy briefs, tools, and training content that can directly improve practice and program outcomes.
At PAHRED, we combine the rigour of research and critical thinking with the compassion of human-centred design. We are grounded in local content, yet globally aware. Every intervention is grounded in data, shaped by local realities, and designed to elevate human potential.
